DBS Breakout 2023

At this year's team meeting, all DBS employees went to the Markermeer in the Netherlands. In addition to business topics, a sailing trip was also on the agenda.

After a successful start last year, this year's team meeting was entitled "Welkom in Nederland". So it was time for all employees to head off to Lelystad. For two days, the agenda included not only a business workshop but, above all, fun and teambuilding.

Workshop with vision

After the welcome and the official part, teams were formed to discuss a future project of the company. The mixed teams were able to collect ideas and thoughts for the future, which were then discussed in a large group. In this way, all employees were able to participate directly in the new project and actively shape the future of the company.

Evening cruise on the Markermeer

In the afternoon it was time to "cast away". From the hotel we headed for the harbor, where the sailing boat Willem Barentsz was already waiting for us. During the 3.5 hour round trip we went far out on the Markermeer. Luckily, we had an experienced skipper on board. After a briefing and the first round of questions, team spirit was required, because the sail could only be raised and, of course, lowered together. Fortunately, the sailing trip went very smoothly with a steady gust of wind, so that everyone could enjoy dinner below deck.

We would like to thank all the organizers and especially our colleague Bianca, who once again created an unforgettable team meeting with great attention to detail. We are already looking forward to next year!
