Innovative solutions for process efficiency in window construction
As the digitalization partner of the VEKA Group, Digital Building Solutions (DBS) is delighted to be taking part in Fensterbau Frontale 2024, the most anticipated trade show for window, door and façade construction. "We are looking forward to participating in Fensterbau Frontale 2024 and presenting our proven and latest innovations in the field of digital solutions for window construction," explains Karl Dietrich Wellsow, Managing Director of Digital Building Solutions GmbH. "This event provides us with an excellent platform to connect with industry representatives, demonstrate our capabilities and explore opportunities for collaboration to actively shape the future of window construction."
A central topic at the trade fair booths of our two system providers VEKA and GEALAN is the area of digitalization. DBS employees will be on site at both booths to present the digital solutions and demonstrate them live on the product.
VEKA fabricators will find us in Hall 6, Booth 153, GEALAN fabricators in Hall 5, Booth 5-203.
Window trade made easy
As an add-on module from the DBS WinDo Planning solution, the dealer module is the ideal solution for window manufacturers in the trade sector without their own trade program: connected dealers can independently determine purchase prices and manage and process all projects digitally. Quotations can be created automatically and individually for each dealer. The aim is to provide fabricators and dealers with a comprehensive software solution that simplifies processes, improves collaboration and promotes business growth.
The online tool is available as a web application anytime and anywhere and can be integrated into the window manufacturer's and dealer's website. Projects can be handled completely digitally: From the quotation to the order confirmation, up to the delivery bill and the invoice. Sales prices and installation costs can be calculated directly as well. In the end, everyone involved benefits from faster and more efficient project processing.
Innovations will be shown
In addition to the successful TradePlanner module, several new products from DBS will also be presented:
In the WinDo Imaging area, there is a new online tool for configuring and visualizing windows and doors on the building façade. Sales staff and end customers can use the URL www.fenster-designer.de to design windows digitally. The data and product basis comes from the planning configurator. A customer-specific layout or process adaptations are easy to implement thanks to a white label solution.
With DBS Connect, the company is developing a central platform for structured project management. As a holistic tool for window manufacturers, DBS Connect enables the tracking of inquiries, orders and projects. The central functions include a clear dashboard with all processes and tasks. It also enables leads and inquiries to be recorded and orders and projects to be managed. Tasks can be assigned and notifications and reminders can be set to improve collaboration between all those involved. The aim is to link all DBS modules and external industry tools in one application.
Another highlight will be the latest version of the VAMOS software. VAMOS 3.0 will be available as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution in the cloud. The software simplifies the key processes of materials planning. It can be connected to several window construction software programs and EDI. Master data for several suppliers can also be integrated. VAMOS 3.0 is characterized by practical functionalities, high security and accuracy with maximum ease of use.
