Shaping the future of window construction
Successful visit from the company KLAES
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the application engineers from our long-standing partner KLAES, leading manufacturer of the window construction software of the same name.
During the two-day visit, the main focus was on getting to know each other and the intensive, professional exchange. Our guests were given a comprehensive insight into our company and our digital toolbox. The colleagues from the DBS WinDo Experts team had planned the visit intensively and prepared a comprehensive agenda. In particular, the talks focused on the technical exchange and discussions about future working methods.
Impressive digital toolbox
In general, the DBS solutions WinDo Planning and the trade module as well as the purchasing solutions from WinDo Ordering were discussed. The updated version of the materials management system called VAMOS, which is being released in a third version and takes materials planning to a next level, was also presented. The possibilities of the WinDo Flow solution were also presented and joint future prospects discussed. Another innovation was the presentation of DBS Connect, a central platform for structured project management in the window and construction industry. With digital support, everything from lead to order completion is constantly documented and clear. It doesn't matter whether the solution is used individually, integrated with the various DBS products or with connected industry tools such as KLAES.
Technical exchange and team building
Day two of the meeting was all about DBS WinDo Experts with its comprehensive master data service. The automatic master data updates, including the material price list, were highlighted and openly discussed. The cooperation with the colleagues from the Customer Service team and possible custom solutions were also discussed. This included going into detail in order to explore possibilities for more intensive cooperation in the future.
In addition to productive discussions, there was time for a relaxed get-together: the first day was rounded off with a fun evening in Münster, where everyone enjoyed the public viewing of the European Football Championship. The second day concluded with an informative factory tour of our system provider VEKA.
We like to thank KLAES for the visit and look forward to many exciting projects in the future.
