Digitalization & sustainability are main topics at the VFF Annual Congress

The German Window + Façade Association (VFF – Verband Fenster + Fassade) hosted an industry event from September 23 – 24, 2021. The annual congress Inside 2021, originally planned for June, now took place in Berlin in compliance with the COVID-19 regulations.

Around 250 participants, all either vaccinated, recovered or tested negatively, were able to follow an interesting program of lectures focusing on digitalization and climate protection. Corresponding expert speakers were Sascha Lobo (German columnist, digital expert and blogger) as well as Sven Plöger (German meteorologist).

For the first time in the history of the association, the event was accompanied by a trade exhibition of twenty participating companies and partners – including the DBS. Following the motto “Digital Solutions for Efficiency, Safety and Comfort”, the trade exhibition delivered in a certain way a direct practical reference to the speakers’ presentations. Accordingly, the exhibition was used for a lively dialogue among all participants.

“The direct exchange with our partners and customers is particularly important to us. For this reason, we are very pleased that we were able to support this year’s annual congress of the VFF as a sponsor,” says Bianca Kramer, organizer of the sponsoring at DBS.

The dinner and evening event were also used for intensive networking within the industry. Everyone is happy, that a personal and direct exchange finally is possible again.

The new event concept was not only well received by us, but also by the participants, who gave it a consistently positive rating in a short survey. We would like to thank our partners, colleagues and all visitors for this successful event.
